I utilize an integrative counseling style tailored to your unique needs, providing the opportunity for you to tap into your strengths. Insights gained may provide you the opportunity to manage stressors and to make self driven choices in a balanced manner. I welcome the exploration of concerns with sociability, isolation, under/over achievement, relational dynamics, self-acceptance, transitions, loneliness, growth, worry, low-frustration tolerance, and peer concerns. With the creation of a confidential space, exploring trauma, complicated family events and grief is comfortable and safe.
I enjoy working with individuals, children, adolescence, couples and families and those who want to utilize religion as a source of healing, with a practice that is inclusive of lifespan, economic, educational, gender, and cultural diversity.

Danny As a natural-born empath, I have always worked in roles where I am able to help others understand themselves better in order to live fulfilled lives. I have worked in the mental health field for many years. I started my career in mental health by working with women and children of domestic violence and then gained most of my work experience working in juvenile halls and county jails. For my undergraduate studies, I received most of my credits from a private university in Oklahoma City and then transferred those credits to the University of Phoenix in San Diego where I completed my Bachelor of Science in human services in 2003. I then went on to complete my master’s in counseling at the University of Phoenix in 2006. In 2012, I completed my PhD in psychology at Saybrook University in San Francisco. All my education and experiences have led me to understand that there are many paths and no one path is the same. Moreover, there is no right or wrong path. I am trained in existential and humanistic therapy and practice more conventional methods that include CBT, DBT, and EMDR. I am passionate about the work I do and offer a space where a person can be free to express their deepest self.  I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in eating disorders/body image, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, LGBTQ+ issues, HIV/AIDS and sex/porn addiction.
